Despite the crisis, we firmly believed in the rapid recovery of the industry and saw the pandemic-driven changes as opportunities requiring bold decisions and innovative thinking.

Initially focused on representing airlines in Poland, PMA Aviation quickly expanded its scope to include airline route development, strategic consulting, and growth support for both emerging and established aviation businesses. As the company matured, it became clear that the untapped potential of Central and Eastern Europe required a broader vision and a renewed brand identity. This led to the creation of W Aviation Group, built on the foundation of experience, collaboration, and regional insight.

Michał Wichrowski

Michał has graduated from aviation management studies at UITM in Rzeszów and managerial studies at Warsaw School of Economics. Recently has started his PhD in aviation marketing.

He has gathered the work experience during an internship at Lufthansa Global Business Services in Kraków, in Enter Air as a cabin crew member and at ‘Polish Airports’ State Enterprise as a head of network development for Warsaw Chopin Airport, Warsaw-Radom Airport and Zielona Góra Airport. Michał is a founder of PMA Aviation and now the CEO of W Aviation Group.

He is an academic lecturer at UITM in Rzeszów and Estonian Aviation Academy in the field of interest such as commercial development of airports, air cargo management, airline business models, network development and airline customer service. Additionally, he is an IATA courses trainer.

At W Aviation Group Michał cooperates closely with Partners in fields such as business development, building and execution of air routes strategies of airlines and airports and other commercial activities on behalf of the Partners.

Katarzyna Ostrowska-Malczewska

Katarzyna brings over a decade of experience in sales, business development, and event management within the hospitality and MICE industries. As CEO at W DMC Poland and W DMC Partnership, she is responsible for driving international cooperation, leading strategic partnerships, and designing tailor-made programs for corporate clients, travel agencies, and institutional partners.

Katarzyna held senior positions in hotel and conference sales, including leading the sales department at European best conference center, where she tripled revenues and developed lasting partnerships across the public and private sectors. Her background includes deep expertise in B2B negotiations, client retention strategies, and sales team leadership.

She is a graduate from international relations and also administration at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and MBA in public administration. With strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for building relationships across cultures, Katarzyna plays a key role in promoting Poland - especially the Lublin region - as a compelling destination for business, culture, and tourism.

Business Development Manager

Agata Szwarc

Agata is a business development manager. She is currently pursuing a degree in Aviation Management at UITM in Rzeszów. Agata's professional journey includes valuable experience gained at Szczecin Airport as a Passenger Service Agent in Welcome Airport Services.

Moreover, Agata actively collaborates with the Chair of Entrepreneurship at UITM, engaging in economic research programs. Last year, she was a researcher in a project conducted in partnership with the Department of Public Finance at the University of Łódź.

Recently, Agata has started working on an economic research project regarding impact of local development policies on the creation of conditions for new business formation.

At PMA Aviation, Agata is responsible for researching emerging market opportunities, recognizing industry trends, and developing effective marketing strategies for our clients.

Air Cargo Specialist

Magdalena Żelazo-Anczykowska

Magdalena Żelazo-Anczykowska PhD is a highly experienced professional with 13 years of expertise in the aviation industry, particularly focused on air cargo transportation from both legal and operational perspectives. As a Doctor of Social Sciences, she specializes in management systems, with a strong emphasis on the transportation of dangerous goods by air.

For the past seven years, Magdalena has served as an expert for the President of the Civil Aviation Authority, offering her knowledge and insights to support the authority's efforts in enhancing aviation safety and regulatory compliance. In addition to her role as an expert, Magdalena is the founder and managing director of a consulting and training business. She provides specialized consulting services and training programs designed to meet the needs of businesses and professionals involved in air transport, with a particular focus on regulatory requirements, operational efficiency, and safety standards.

Her broad experience and deep knowledge in the field make her a sought-after expert in air cargo transportation and management systems, particularly for those handling dangerous materials. Magdalena contributions have been instrumental in advancing industry best practices and ensuring compliance with international aviation regulations.

Attorney at Law

Karolina Bonarska-Lenarczyk

Karolina is an attorney at law with over 15 years of experience in comprehensive legal service both entrepreneurs and individual clients. She specializes in broadly understood civil law, both substantive and procedural law, commercial, administrative and aviation law.

She graduated from the legal adviser apprenticeship at the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Warsaw. Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in 2005 and doctoral studies at the Polish Academy Of Sciences in Warsaw in 2009.

Karolina has worked at the Polish Civil Aviation Authority as a lawyer at the Legal and Legislative Department, and then as the Deputy Director at the Personnel Licensing Department Aviation for 10 years. She has extensive experience gained in servicing entities from the aviation sector as part of the legal adviser practice.

Academic lecturer in postgraduate and MBA studies in the field of aviation law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University Lazarski. Court Mediator entered on the list of permanent mediators at the President of the Court District in Warsaw.

After gaining practice in multiple law firms she has established her own in 2019 and provides legal advice to aviation and non-aviation clients, which she is developing till today with several law experts.

PR & Marketing Manager

Katarzyna Ciąpała

Katarzyna is a social media manager. She has graduated from Digital Marketing at Kozminski University in Warsaw and Journalism and Social Communication at UITM in Rzeszów.

She specializes in social media marketing – Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest and TikTok. She is responsible for visual content, communication strategy, PR, press releases, contact with media, organization of promotional and commercial events.

Kate performs research on benchmark trends and is on top of the latest social media trends.
She has gathered her experience during an internship at European Commission Representation in Poland and Institute for Financial Research and Analyses at UITM in Rzeszów.

Duncan Osborne

Duncan Osborne is a commercial leader with over two decades of experience in strategic growth, aviation marketing, and international business development. His career spans global brands and leading aviation players, including Qatar Airways, Air Arabia, and Fly Atlantic, where he has driven transformative projects in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

As former SVP of Global Marketing at Qatar Airways and Head of Marketing at Air Arabia, Duncan played a pivotal role in global route expansion, loyalty program development, and award-winning brand campaigns. His achievements include launching over 38 new routes worldwide and delivering double-digit revenue growth in highly competitive markets.

At W Aviation Group, Duncan brings his expertise in route strategy, brand positioning, and market entry advisory - supporting airlines, airports, and tourism authorities in navigating complex commercial challenges. His cross-sector background, including leadership roles with aviation and non-aviation enterprises, enhances his ability to apply innovative thinking to aviation and travel projects.
